offered by Country Camping Lodge 40 km outside Kenhardt.
Country
Camping Lodge is located only 20 km away from the
famous Verneukpan
well know for testing and breaking new world land-speed
records.
Relax in one of our 5 tented en-suite
chalets and swimming facilities scattered on the highest
top of this beautiful farm overlooking the green riverbeds
where the wild run free. Go for a hike, donkey cart
or quad bike ride to explore this breathtaking piece
of land rich in bird- and wildlife and covered in
Bushmen drawings and bright evening stars.
With no electricity you will find
this experience extra special by using “the
donkey” for hot water and our Kalahari switch
better known as a lantern to provide light.
This spot is perfect for teambuilding,
families outings or even for couples who want something
different, something special, something unique……
The chalets are equipped with 2 double
beds, braai facilities and a full bathroom per chalet;
however you will need to supply your own cutlery,
bedding, chairs and towels. The 47 km dirtroad to
the lodge are only suited for 4x4’s, trucks
and “bakkies” with the last 17km being
a 2 track dirtroad.
