Dune Valley provides a self-catering house that sleeps eight people. It is surrounded by dunes and has a view over the only valley in the Kalahari (Kalkrand in Duineveld). There is no electricity, but there is warm water and a 12 Volt battery light system is available. So the farm offers a natural setting and silence. The house is newly built with a large room, eight beds and fully equipped kitchen, a shower and a flushing toilet.

Visitors can enjoy the tranquil setting, as well as explore the 9000 hectares farm with springbuck, oryx, cattle and sheep. There are also beautiful birds and Kalahari plants. Dune Valley offers a breakaway for the family from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Directions:
Dune Valley is situated 35km south of Askham on the R360 road to Kgalagadi. From Upington, take the R360 (to Kgalagadi). Drive north for 150km, and take the turn-off to Rietfontein Drive for 5km on a dirt road and turn then turn left. Drive for another 1.7km to reach the guest farm (a 4x4 is needed to access the farm on this road).
