Slypsteen Guest Farm/Gasteplaas is situated between Kimberley and Upington on the way to Namibia. The nearest towns are Groblershoop, 30 km from here and Upington, 90 km from here.

The guest farm is built on a small mountain and overlooks the beautiful Orange River Valley. A beautiful view of the Orange River, all the different vineyards, the most beautiful sunsets and starlight evenings. All four seasons promise the most beautiful scenery. Hunting farms in the vicinity make it an ideal stop in the winter months. It is ideal for people who want to break away and have some rest with their families, or on their own. The nearest airport is at Upington.

On the site are three chalets with four beds each. The chalets are self catering, air-conditioned and well equipped. There are two smaller chalets with two beds each, air-conditioned, and ideal for bed and breakfast. A restaurant for booked breakfast and dinners. A beautiful chapel, built of stone, makes it ideal for small weddings. The chapel has seat for 30 people. All the buildings have thatched roofs.

Mount Zion Bible School is on the site too. Teaching is given to Bible Study groups, other groups, youth and other leaders. Councelling is given also. If in need of a special time of spiritual growth, Slypsteen invites you!
