Dreghorn Kalahari Game Ranch is
situated 200km north of Upington in the Northern Cape,
over looking the dry Molopo river bed, 65km from Kgalagadi
Trans Frontier park. The name Dreghorn came from a
small town in Scotland, where John Boyd Dunlop were
born, inventor of the pneumatic tire.
A “Boma” surrounded by 8 wooded cabins
in the middle of red Kalahari dunes, fully equipped
with bathroom and air-conditioning. Overnight in
the cabins and you will have an amazing sight waking
up overlooking a water hole were animals come to
drink water and the beautiful sunrise. Want to be
alone and do everything yourself? We also have 2
self catering flats equipped with kitchen, bathroom
en air-conditioning.
We have everything and more for your perfect African
Kalahari experience, hunting, 4x4 drives, hiking,
bird watching and more…
Not only visiting here, but eating, we serve mouth
watering traditional dishes and have a bar with
indoor braai for those ciphering cold evenings.
Dreghorn is ideal for hunting, weddings, birthday
parties, family getaways And much more that you
see fit for this amazing Game Ranch.
Like to visit us in summer? We have a swimming
pool and kiddies pool to get that lovely summer
tan also with handmade wooden umbrellas.
After hunting we have slaughter facilities, cooler
room and meat processing facilities, making your
hunting experience and transporting of meat so much
more comfortale.
Directions
200km North of Upington, turn right on the road
to Kgalagadi, another 4km and turn right again.
13km Graffle road and then on your right hand side
you will see Dreghorn Kalahari Game Ranch, your
relaxing and exiting getaway.
