Swift River adventures
invite you to experience the Orange River running
through Upington in all its glory. Our half-day river
rafting trip from Upington to Oukamp, provides the
ideal breakaway from your normal routine. You will
experience the Orange River with it's abundance of
bird life and throw a wave at the locals as they sit
on the banks and fish.
On your 3-5 hour journey down the Orange, you will
be accompanied by registered African Paddling Association
(APA) guides. We use inflating two-person boats that
are easy to paddle and steer even for less confident
paddlers. Upon commercing the trip you will be briefed
on safety and basic paddling techniques, which will
be quite handy during the course of the trip.
Gather your family, friends and colleagues and experience
slow tranquil stretches and adrenalin-rushing white
water rapids. Enjoy the wonder of the majestic Orange
River. So, Sit back in you boat and float gently with
the current as you realise this is one of the many
"Heavens on Earth"
