About Rea Guesthouse & Bushcamp

Perched on one of the highest calcrete banks of the dry Molopo riverbed with vistas of the splendid Kalahari, the guest house retains the elegance of a bygone area. In this sanctuary of relaxation and luxury, your hosts, Neno and Nicolene Knoetze, delights in spoiling guests with their generous hospilatity. At sunset, enjoy a glass of wine from the jacuzzi overlooking a Camelthorn tree forest and at night, dine by candlelight on succulent Kalahari lamb and venison.

The Bush Camp (4km from the main house) offers a more rustic experience, but with warm water showers and flush toilets there's no need to 'rough it'. Here you can cook on an open fire or gas and enjoy the remoteness and silence of the surrounding Kalahari, while tiny finches, huge vultures and eagles bring this desert to life.
